My favorite books: I like a wide range of books, but lately I have been reaching for historical fiction more and more at the library.
Of course, any book that incorporates food and the senses is a great choice for me. My two favorite books are: "Like Water for Chocolate" and "The Alchemist."

On to the personal stuff...I have moved around quite a bit: Israel, Milwaukee, Lansing, Rochester MN, Minneapolis, Madrid, Denver...and now Munich! I am an American, but I enjoy adapting to new cultures.
I know I'm not as good a writer as I am an editor, but I'm okay with that. :-)
Thank you for your interest in my new book, Wolves the Elite Deltas. It's a great story on the account of troops fighting in the Middle East. I'm looking forward to getting more people to know more about it!

Feels really weird now that the World Cup is over. The last two weeks there was this intense vibe in the country. People who don't even watch football/soccer went to go watch games at local pubs and cheered which ever team they chose with everything the had (certain teams' shirts were sold out near the end). The amount of foreigners here was also pretty cool. And now its over. And soon classes will start again and people will go on with their lives. I think everyone in the country is suffering from withdrawal. Our country was location for the coolest party in the world that lasted a month and now it's over. Very sad. Oh, and I really dislike that fortune-cookie octopus
Anyway, I updated my story. I corrected the mistakes Rebekah had pointed out and I added on to the fourth chapter =D. Thank you so much for reading my story. Please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions and spot any other mistakes =D You're an awesome friend, thanks =D
Thank you for reading what I've written so far. Please let me know where you found the errors. Do you really like it or are you secretely hoping it gets better later on? ;P hehehe kidding!!!!!!
I'll try and update the story as soon as possible, things are just a bit hectic now because of the last week of the World Cup, lol it's weird to see so many foreigners in our local hang-out places!
Hope you have a great day. Fond regards, Lerize Marx
I took liberty to use 'BookRix' to make group official with good intentions. :) I hope the members will come together in this group to share their work.
As for me, this is the first time that I ever reached out to masses and got my work published 'online'. I look for your support and advice regarding my work. I will appreciate criticism on my work since that would be a great help for me to overcome my shortcomings.
Hello Ayelet - I am in the process of writing my first novel which I started on my birthday, January 13, 2009. I have become involved with the writing community - attending workshops, book readings, a wonderful critique group (led by Jacinta White) - check her out. I'm not quite sure if she realizes what a positive impact she has had and continues to have where my writing is concerned and uncovering a spirit which I have been harboring for a long time. I'm taking a couple creative writing classes this spring at Salem College; and at this time, I am mustering up the courage and editing a portion of my novel which I plan to enter in my first contest with Press 53 in Winston Salem, NC and perhaps with Bookrix along the way. Well, that's my introduction, and I look forward to communicating and learning all I can from you and other fellow writers. Thanks for your time! Andrea

Nice to have a historical fiction reader with us. There was a time when you couldn't walk down a beach and not see someone reading one of his books. ED
