Hi Cleveland, I wrote a response to your questions, and then I had a phone call and the connection timed out so i could not send my answers.
When I edity, my first edit is for typos, doubled up words (which happens) and that kind of odds and ends. Then I do a 2nd edit, at the end of s short story but with a novel, i may go back as I am writing to previous chapters. It depends. But ostensibly, the 2nd (and possibloy 3rd) edit is for adding bits that as i read through, I feel should be there, like more character details, more dialogue, something that isn;t said quite as well the first timne as it should be. Also some things can be removed so the word count changes a lot. Is this what you wanted to knoew? Is this how you edit?

Hi, yes I am as fine as I can be on this wey Sunday morning. No one has contacted me in over a week. Where is everyone? I have been busy just dealing with emails, Facebook and so on so a bit out of the loop. Also need to deal with editing one of my books. Would like to write new stuff but like to read and that takes time.
