My favorite quote:To be born, or at any rate bred in a handbag, whether it had handles or not, seems to me to display a contempt for the ordinary decencies of life that reminds me of the worst excesses of the French Revolution . And I presume you know what that unfortunate movement led to. (Lady Bracknell in The importance of being Earnest by O. Wilde)

Well, I have 5 items here now, I hesitate to call them books!!

IF anyone reads them and thinks they're OK then I'm a winner. If not then at least I had fun writing them.

I am not a writer, that will be self evident, but I think I can tell a story.
I have always been a fan of the short stories of O'Henry, Archer and Dahl and of the radio programme "take my word". I like a twist in the tale(or at least a kink) or a punch line that is a pun (as in my own " A Monk's Tale")

I will appreciate any constructive advice that is given. Although I never intend to try and be published in the true sense, it is an outlet to put something here and even better if someone likes it. Thanks Bookrix for the opportunity.
