Thoroughly enjoy reading and writing and cats. A social worker for the past ten years, I have been off work due to chronic illness, which has given me the time I need to devote to writing. Married with three kids, four cats.
Thank you so much for accepting my friendship request God bless you for that :-) It's nice to meet fellow writers here and I look forward to reading your stories and I will start soon, would you please also read Hadassah's Watchman? I am looking for honest critiques as I am now starting the second draft of this story and then I will start editing then submitting it for publishing (yes I'm a big dreamer and I think you and every one should dream). I look forward to being a support to writers on here becasue I do think so often we get discouraged and we would give up were it not for honest people with the gift of encouragement.
Thanks for your kind words. In my mid-sixties, I have been writing in a creative/hermetic vaccuum for the better part of twenty years and only just began submitting stories withing the last six months. Surpise! Surprise!
Hi Rebekah, Well done with the last BOW. I like that you write in a variety of voices. I guess ten years as a social worker gives you a big pool of ideas to pick from. I also see you like historical fiction. I have a self-published historical romantic fiction entitled 'Glanum' on Amazon, its also on Lulu.com along with 'For The Love of Money'. You should try self-publishing, its almost free and great fun to see your work in print. I have cousins in Melbourne and been there a few times. Nice town.
