I am glad to confirm that just like with the first Leend of Darkfang, book 2 will also soon ave a short story tied to it. I have chosen Viparion and Nearrmist as the major characters for the short story. The current title as of right at this moment is:

Hello, I'm new to Bookrix but not new to writing. I love dragons because of there power and beauty. I thing gryphons are just cute and fuzzy! Well all you should really know about me is that I'm really friendly and just like to have fun!

Since completing The Legend of Darkfang: Day of Black Flames I have come to the conclusion that this is a far brighter story then what I was doing before. I enjoyed writing it, and unlike with The Chronicles of Azzmera I felt more connected with the characters. That's something that I did not feel real great with The Chronicles of Azzmera, I just could not connect with the characters! So by bringing back the original Darkfang and completly starting over I have felt that it was a far better choice. I like how Darkfang and his friend reacted to there challenges weather it was between foes or obsticals. I think it is high time I just say it, I will be adding a short story soon to the Legend of Darkfang Book 1: Day of Black Flames. It may take sometime for this story to apper but it will be soon! Now I'm sure you all would like a hint as to what or who the short will be about, you get one name: Walvar The Sun-Maker!

After announcing that The Chronicles of Azzmera had indeed been cancaled, I quickly began to jump into a new project. To take the world of Azzmera back to it's beginning. I remade old character files and brought back old heros for The Legend of Darkfang!

I have been working on it for little over 2 months now and I have enjoyed a more brighter view on Azzmera. Now Darkfang is the first true hero of Azzmera. He was probly one of my first real dragon characters back when I was 8 and first started to gain interest in fantasy. He's all for honor and helping people, and if you know me then you'd know I'm heavily inspired by other series. The Legend of Darkfang is majorily inspired by series such as Spyro and other fantasy series. I've only scratched the surfice of Darkfang's power and with Book 1 coming to a close, I've already begun working on a Book 2. I have a project title already placed though it may change over time. People commonly ask me "why dragons? Why fantasy?" My answer is never really quite the same because in all truth I don't really know why. One day it suddenly clicked that this was something I wanted to do. I enjoy video games like Spyro, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, Reckoning, things like that so I'm sure that helped. Now why did I start writing? Well I'm not a vary social person, I grew up with vary few friends and so I slowly just started to mold my own world. What are your thoughts? 8-)

This is a question I love to ask fastasy fans and Sy-Fy fans, Where does your inspiration come from. Is it from another Author, Video game, Book, TV, Movie? Or is it just out of nowhere?

My inspiration comes from a mix of Video Games and Books. My favorite author is Chris D'Lacy and I've studied his fantasy stories as well as enjoyed them. My favorite game is Spyro/Skylanders and a lot of my inspiration comes from that. Both Skiree and Nalian are my own version of Spyro and Cynder, Nalian being the great hero like Spyro is to his games, and Skiree being like Cynder the epic female dragoness that wants to make a difference.
