Slipping through Fingers"
Short and descriptions were a little over the top but a good story. for example: animal screams etc. If you had made this longer we could see your obvious talent./joeparente

Not the expected
Your story had a good pace and flow, and was certainly a page turner. I was sad to come to the end of it. You write very well and I was impressed.

Hi Tricia, Your story is...
Hi Tricia,

Your story is very well written. I like your tone, pace and your use of metaphor. Your sentence style is short, direct, to the point. Which is great, you use adverbs and adjectives appropriately, peppered here and there but no 'overkill'.

Couple of spelling and grammatical (but not many), you've edited this well.

A good plot for a short story. Good start, middle and end. Fantastic job. I'll give you a vote.

Slipping...
When we're on the professional side of the fence, the prospective is a lot different then looking back...the angst was depicted realistically but I'm glad you gave it a 'happy' ending...Paula

heart-breakingly real
You took this reader there and showed the pain, the worry, and the fear. It is sad that there is pain in living but to have it translated by you helps to ease the pain and to deal with such moments.

Man with a major guilt complex?
Gosh how fascinating! I had no idea when I wrote the story that guilt was involved! It was supposed to be a sort of "poacher turned gamekeeper" idea where the professional mask drops when he is personally involved. Thank you so much for your comments. It really set me thinking!!

A man with a major guilt complex! I think I would have preferred giving birth than listening to this man's angst! Well Done! You had me emotionally charged up on his insanity.
