• We are a community consisting of many people who are enthusiastic about books in one way or another. We want everybody to feel comfortable while at BookRix.com. Please treat other BookRix members respectfully even if they have different opinions than yours. Keep in mind that it is not just what you say that matters; it also is the way you say it.
• Please only upload on your profile content which you have the rights to and which respects the rights of others.
• You are responsible for the content which you are uploading. Therefore, please think twice about whether the content you intend to upload is violating the rights of others or is insulting or discriminating against others. In particular, do not upload content which is pornographic; includes vulgar or obscene language; is annoying or otherwise indecent; constitutes an incitement of masses; contains insults; contains deformation, subjective or false presentations of facts; is qualified to be unconstitutional, extremist, racist or xenophobic; or has come from prohibited groups.
  
  In the case that you break this rule, we retain the right to ask you to delete the content or to block your profile.
• The protection of children and young people is an essential concern to us. Please do not upload content on your profile which might be harmful to children and young people in any way.
• Please do not present yourself in the nude or engaging in sexual acts on your profile picture.
• Please do not publish any obscene or prohibited content. We reserve the right to delete your profile if you do and we also retain the right to initiate legal proceedings against you in this case.
• Please do not use any banners and do not use your profile for commercial purposes (e.g., the selling of goods and services of any kind or for advertising purposes). The same applies with respect to the BookRix technology (BookRix books). Such technology may only be used commercially (in whatever way) if you receive prior written permission from BookRix.
• Creating more than one profile is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to delete multiple accounts. If you have forgotten your password or username, click the links "Forgotten Username" or "Forgotten Password" in the login box to have them sent to your e-mail address.
• Please do not spam fellow BookRix members. The use of any form of machine promotion is prohibited.
• In case you are bothered by other BookRix users or by the content of others, you can make us aware of that by e-mailing us at .
