Free Writing Contest "Travel Stories":
We are proud to present the fourth
free BookRix writing contest in cooperation with the
Georgia Writers Association. Authors as well as readers can enter the competition for
free and
win cash money!
Timeline:
Community Voting - November 4, 2009 to November 30, 2009
Jury Rating - December 1, 2009 to December 14, 2009
The contest starts on November 4, 2009. Authors must register their stories for the competition by November 30, 2009, 12 pm (EDT) / 9 am (PDT). Write a story that has anything to do with traveling. It must not be longer than 25 BookRix pages. Until November 30, 2009 readers can vote for their favorite story. Readers’ votes determine a selection of the best 10 stories, "TOP 10". Afterward this selection of the best rated 10 stories will be given to an independent jury consisting of BookRix and the Georgia Writers Association. The Jury will choose the best three stories out of the final 10 books. All winners will be announced on or before December 21, 2009.
Prizes:
Both authors and readers can win attractive prizes. You must register to enter a story into the contest and to rate books. You must vote on at least one story to enter the free contest.

In addition the winners will be interviewed in the BookRix Radio Show and featured in the BookRix newsletter and homepage.
Prizes for readers:
10
Amazon Vouchers each worth $20 will be raffled for
free among all readers taking part in the free voting process. You must vote on at least one book to enter the contest.
