Re-read it...still funny. Did you find that #5 all iron club?
Most of my first set was almost all different makes. And the #3 wood had a leak on the I emptied it all and filled it with cement. It was so heavy everyone called it Big Bertha.

Good one. I tried golf a few times years ago; I was as bad as you. I actually put three into the water next to me with amazing slices. They went about about 10-feet in the air before literally doing a right turn into the water. Three in a row before I managed to dribble one down the fairway about 50 feet--worm burners I think they're called.

And I wasn't very good at water skiing either....

Thank you Patrick for validating my desire to never, ever play golf! LOL This was very fun, thank you!

Okay finished reading and I just have one question where is that 5 iron? Did you hide it from Jim as a joke? I know this is not a game for me.Serena

Very humorous! Could it be that we shall see the water skii as well? Hopefully we shall. I know more about golf from reading your book than from even caring to watch. Now I know, when to yell "Fore!" Lol.

Thanks for the warning on golf! All this time I was thinking it was just a matter of learning how to swing a club...tsk, tsk, tsk...I have been enlightened :)

I had to read this because I play golf too. My fiance is teaching me and thank God he's patient. I never thought of Titliest that way-funny.

To be continued???

I remember the one and only time I tried golf. Your well chosen words remind me of the horrible embarrassment, fortunate only that my girl friend was every bit as inept while we followed our husbands around the course.

this was a lot of fun to read - I hope the continuation will appear soon.

Tim Conway (Dorf on Golf) was a major influence, lol. That said...all of what I'm writing concerning my "ordeal" really happened, lol.
Anxious to read yours, Laz!

Gosh, that's funny. Reminds me of my games. That being said, I think you just inspired me to write about my attempts at golf. thanks.
