Some of us write because we want to share our characters with readers, so they will get some kind of joy and pleasure as they read our stories.
Coming up with a good theme can be hard, and many of us go through a dry spell, lacking ideas on what to write. Finding a good theme can be hard, and often each of us goes through a dry spell, having no idea what to write about. Is it the mood we get in that blocks themes and stories, or is this the time we perhaps should stop writing and read someone else's stories?
If we take a break from writing, perhaps a good idea will come out of the air later on. This has happened to me many times. I might be just sitting around, not really thinking about a story, and suddenly one pops right out of thin air.
What inspires you? What captures your interest in a story someone else has written?
Do you love mysteries, humor, romance......or what?
