So, let me be your Guide to what's all in playing Super Mario Galaxy! Let me tell you how to do advance jumps and teach you Mario's Unique Moveset. I can also teach you what Power-Ups are in the Game and what they do. I can also teach you how to collect the hard power stars.

Chapter 2: Advance Jumps

Advance Jump #1: The Triple Jump: Ah, the good ol' Triple Jump! This jump was first used in 1996 in Super Mario 64. This jump is now usually a modern jump used in mostly every 3D Mario Game. You can perform a Triple Jump by pressing A on the WiiMote 3 times in a row. You also have to time the jumps perfectly to perform the Triple Jump. You can use the Triple Jump to reach High Places that a Normal Jump just can't get you to. You can also combine a Triple Jump with other jumps and moves to reach even higher but, that's in a different chapter.

Advance Jump #2: The Long Jump: Do you want to make Long distance without having to run? Well, the Long Jump can make That true! This Jump was also originally used in 1996 in Super Mario 64 and s now commonly used in 3D Mario Games. If you want to Perform a Long Jump, you first have to run in a straight line for about 3 seconds. Then, you press B on the WiiMote, the press A after you press B and you will have performed a Long Jump! This Jump can help you get Across those Long Gaps and can combined with a move that can get you even further but, coming up in a different chapter. This Jump can be very useful in the Cosmic Mario Racing Stars.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Advance Jump #3: The Wall Jump: Oh No! There is a Wall and the Platform is in the Air! You try to Triple Jump but you can't make it! What are you gonna do now? Well, you know that wall earlier that I mentioned. There is a Jump that can get you to that platform! It is called the Wall Jump. Again, it was first in 1996 in Super Mario 64 and is now commonly in 3D Mario Games. You can perform this wall bouncing trick by, jumping into a wall and waitning for Mario to slide on the wall, then press A on the WiiMote so you can bounce of that wall and reach that high platform. This Jump can be combined with another jump and move, but that is still a different chapter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Advance Jump #4: The Slide Jump: The Slide Jump is a Jump that allows you to gain the same ammount of height as a Double Jump in just one jump. This Jump was first used in 1996 in Super Mario 64 and is now commonly used in 3D Mario Games. You can perform this sliding trick by running in a straight line, then run backwards, Mario will slide and after Mario slides a bit, press A on the WiiMote and you Mario will jump sideways really high.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Advance Jump #5: The Backflip Jump: The Backflip Jump let's you Jump in style with a Backflip. First used in 1996 in Super Mario 64 and is commonly used in 3D Mario Games. This Jump can be performed by Pressing and Holding B on the WiiMote, then Press A on the WiiMote and Mario will do a Backflip. Yahoo! On to the Next Chapter! Lets's A Go!

Chapter 3: Mario Moves

In Super Mario Galaxy, Mario has a really cool move set, so let's check them out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Move #1: Crouch: Is there a hole that you can't fit in? Well, use the crouch! You can perform this crouch by pressing B on the WiiMote. Very simple right? It was First used in Super Mario Bros and is commonly used in Mario Games!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Move #2: Crouch Walking: You can't get through that hole while standing still can you? No, you can't, but you can walk while your crouching! You can perform this by pressing B on the WiiMote, then moving around. Ha, now you can get through that hole!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Move #3: Luma Spin: At the beginning of the game, you are given a Pale Star named Luma. With that star you can perform a special move only in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. You can perform this move by shaking the WiiMote. It can be combined with some jumps, moves, and power-ups but, that's in a different chapter. Let's A Go to the next chapter!

Chapter 3: Power Description

All the Power Ups for this game will be right in this book for a whole chapter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #1: The Beeshroom: The name of the mushroom really fits what the power up does. This power up fits Mario in a Bee Suit and Mario can fly for a short amount of time. Watch the Fly meter because if it goes out, Mario will start to fall ever so slowly. So, I wouldn't want to go across huge gaps unless you know how to combo jumps and moves with this power up.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #2: The Booshroom: When Mario collects this funny Boo looking Mushroom, Mario will turn into a Boo with a mustache and a Red Hat. This Power Up allows you to fly as long as you want and it will also let you turn Invisible. You can find this Mushroom in the Gloomy Mansion Galaxy, which in the first star, you get to find Luigi trapped in a room that you have to vanish through and Luigi will be scared of you. Watch Luigi cry! BOO - hoo! HA HA HA!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #3: The Springshroom: There are some heights that Mario can't reach with a Triple Jump, when you collect this Springy Mushroom, Mario will be coiled up into a Spring and Mario will jump even higher than before. You can find this mushroom in the Toy Galaxy. The Springy Thing that is!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #4: The Fire Flower: This is a very basic Mario Item in almost every Mario game and it's in this one too, hooray! But, with this being a 3D Mario game, it is harder to aim at enemies. You can find his fiery flower in the Fire/Ice Galaxy. Looks like Mario is Blazin', 420 Blazin' that is!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #5: The Ice Flower: This item is very chilly indeed. When Mario collects this Item, Mario turns completely into Ice and Mario is granted the ability to freeze water and walk on it. You can also collect this Item in the Fire/Ice Galaxy. It gives you the Chills!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #6: The Red Galaxy Star: As on my logo, Mario and Luigi look like they have collected these stars. When you grab this star, you will be granted the ability to fly anywhere. You can only get this star by going to the planet with the Mips and collect the star and grab all 100 purple coins and then you can use them at Rosalina's Observatory. I believe I can fly!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power Up #7: The Rainbow Star: This star is just like an Invincible Star, but it is a Rainbow Star instead. If you collect this star, Mario will be covered with rainbows and will be invincible. Rarely ever will you find this power up, but it can be found in any level.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the next Chapter since we have enough stars to launch ourselves there!

Chapter 3: Combinding Jumps, Moves, and Power Ups to Make Distance and Gain Height

Well, we can now combine any jump, moves and power ups we have talked about. Also, there are so many combinationts that are possible and I am going to go over all of them, so this chapter might be long and you better prepare yourself for mind blowing combinations.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Combo #1: Long Jump + Spin: If yow need to make more distance in a long jump then just add a little spin to it to make a little more distance.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Combo #2: Long Jump + Spin + Bee Suit: Did you just die in the Beehive Galaxy again trying to do the Long Jump + Spin, well combine a Bee Suit and you can make much more further distance than that Long Jump + Spin could have ever gotten you!
