Hello, my fellow writers and readers! I'm new here and thought I will publish my work here the first being the short story An Ulterior Motive set in my dark fantasy/dieselpunk setting the authoritarian theocratic continent of Angara.

After the destruction of her village, the only survivor: Emilia is saved by a stranger: an elf named Anargrin. Who claims to work for a mercenary organisation known and respected all over the continent of Angara: The Hunters.

He asks for no payment and to help her with the sickness that threatens to overwhelm her.

But why?

I have uploaded the first chapter and will upload the next-next Monday. South Pacific/Auckland time. As I'm from New Zealand.

I am looking for a few other writers to participate in a writing exercise. I am going to write the opening of a short story. I would like another writer to then pick up where I leave off, write a few pages of their own and then pass it to another writer and so on until we can bring it to a logical conclusion. I would like to have each writer come from a different preferred genre of writingng so that we have a good variety of input. If you are interested or know someone who might be please let me know.
